Additional features are a greater integration of Internet Explorer GUI with the functionality of Active Desktop and the complete power management according to the ACPI specification.
In Microsoft Windows 98 SE have been included many improvements, the main features are Internet Explorer 5, NetMeeting 3 and the sharing of Internet connections (Internet Connection Sharing ICS).
Another feature no less important is what allows manufacturers to use the same device driver developed for Windows 98 for Windows NT, thus making easier the design and development.
